The Thorn Tree

After escaping from intrigue, Talith and over complicated plot lines in London (how is a mystery), Annie Dubois has decided to start again. In New York. her new bar, The Thorn Tree, open its doors soon. But first, she needs staff.

Clothing: Just about anything, but among her favorites for the average night are floral dresses, gypsy skirts, beads and bangles. She nearly always has bare feet. However she has also been seen to dress more seriously. When out she wears either a green velvet cape or a black jacket, depending on business.
Personality:
Friendly and chatty, Annie has a habit of finding out all there is to know about people without revealing much more than her name. She is honest and helpful to those in need, tough under pressure and confident with most circumstances. She also ha a taste for adventure and getting involved in other peoples problems. Sometimes however Annie shows a darker side to her personality, a left over from her previous life.
Bio:
Where Annie came from is rather a mystery and she dodges all questions as to who she is. She turned up around 20 years ago with a pocket full of cash and bought the old pub renamed it and opened up the only bar in London where you can buy a rabbit blood and vodka cocktail.
She serves on the bar, acts as bouncer and keeps the accounts. The only place that she won't go is the kitchen... she claims not to be able to cook at all.
In truth Annie is a faerie and was in the past a leading member of the wild hunt. However she left after another member of the wild hunt (Talith) killed her sister. She also spent time serving the summer court until they exiled her.
Since then Talith has become King of the Dark Court and Annie is his enemy.
Special Powers/Abilities:
Annie moves fast, has sharp eyes and hearing and is very good at guessing what people are and what they want to drink. She is also surprisingly handy with a chair or any other improvised weapon. She can drink most people under the table as well.

Bio: Born to a bar owning family in Ireland,
Angelus grew to love bars and drinking. Only a few people know the real details of his changes, such as Anne. He came to the Black Flag 11 years ago and got a job as a barman. He also developed a sort of crush, on a regular named Tamsin. After the events of Black Flag, he Taz dated for a bit but it didn't end well. He heard about Annie opening up a new bar in the Big Apple and decided to see if she needed a barman. He hoped on the first boat to America and arrived in New York a few days later. He first found a place and is about to go over to Annie's bar to find work.

Special Powers/Abilities: He is fast and strong for a vampire, and can handle himself in a fight. He is also one of the few people who can stand up to Anne in a drinking contest although he like most usually loses. Supercharging, and knows some magic from dating Taz

Personality: Kind, smart, loves her family, she’s brave, and she will stand her
ground before she runs
Bio: She had heard from her twin sister, Ginger, that the Black Flag was on it’s
last leg and that Annie was leaving London, though she didn’t know where Annie
was going and that she’d love to go with her to help her out. Leah had ran into
Annie by mistake and had recognized her almost instantly about a week after she
had gotten news that Ginger was killed by a rowdy customer, which she hasn’t
told Annie. She’s in desperate need of a job and plans to ask Annie if she
could give her one, and hopes she hires her, though she's not quite as hard working as Ginger was.
Skills/Powers: shape shifting (into wolf), inhuman strength, senses, and speed (usual vamp and lycan stuff),
she can teleport (herself only), heals quickly, and she has the power of
knowing

btw Ginger and Leah look a LOT alike except for their hair being different colors

Personality: A tad rowdy and not afraid to speak her mind. Rough around the edges, but she warms up after knowing her for a while.

Bio: Van comes from a rough background. She had been used for her acrobatic abilities in a twisted circus to draw in profit for a greedy and powerful man of her own species. Fed up, she'd had enough. She fought her captor and managed to escape, though not unscathed, hence the bandages over her eye. Now free, she sought her true passion; cooking. She had been on a stroll when she saw a bar with a HELP WANTED sign in the window.

Skills/Powers: Levitation, astral projection, healing, heightened senses, speed and strength, hypnotism, can cause nightmares and induce lust.

Bio:Raiden was born through the body of a child who was to born under the name of Raiden during WWII. The child was meant to die, but with Raiden's soul place inside his body the child was able to live on as a reaper for Death. His identity as Death's offspring was hidden for the first three years of the war, before a small group of Angels caught wind of his existence. They thought of it as their chance of being able to control Death. So they disguised themselves within the vessels of American soldiers. It was odd, but they wanted no suspicion to be had when capturing him. After distracting the family another angel was able to snatch Raiden up into a bag. It was then he was taken to a small prison like building, where he was kept in exile until the first sign of his powers had started to develop. By this time Raiden had been well developed, but once he hit the age of 18 he stopped aging. as a reaper his lifetime was infinite. The angels ran test, and tried to brainwash him. They wanted to know they secret of Death so they could control it against their battle with demons. But it wouldn't work. It would be a few more years before Raiden's scythe finally appeared, giving him full control of his powers. This is when he finally took up his job as a reaper and killed the angels. After that he left to find himself being brought into the mafia, his shapeshifting ability allowing him to blend with almost any crowd he wanted. After that he took an interest in politics, military, terrorism, and acting. He wanted to be able to try any and everything, but after a while he started to get bored and wanted to settle down. That brought him to The Thorn Tree.

Bio:Vergilius was a member of one of the high vampire families,not much is known about his life in the dark castle of Verona.At the age of 17 during his transformation ritual a number of fairies invaded and slaughtered his family.He as the sole survivor was taken into their court to exist as a slave and to amuse other by fighting horrific monster.His owner used him as a toy and a pet.50 years ago during an uproar,Gil used his only chance of escape and ran.Since then he had been running all over Europe.3 days after arriving to New York he was attacked by a group of fae hunters.Although managing to kill them all,he is still heavily wounded and is slowly making his way through the streets.
Skills/powers :although not being very strong phisically,his body is very resistant to both physical and mental attacks due to surviving harsh punishment inflicted to him by his captors.Extreme capacity and skill at weilding cold weapons.Blood lightning (a combination of hemomancery and elektrokinesis;using both talents to create this power(tell me if this is too powerfull ill change it))
