Bad Blood and Revenge

In a tal old house in Hamstead a woman stood by the widow in a an empty room looking at the moon. It was a rather shoddy room, by her standards, not that anything right now was up to her standards. but right now she didn't care. It could have been a shack for all she cared, what mattered was that she was making a start. She had sent discrete messages to those she felt she could still trust. They should be on their way now. She had taken her first step.
There was a noise at the door and the Countess turned, ready to face her first loyal servant, or her potential death if she had sent the message to the wrong people.

Fenris was surprised when he heard that the countess survived.Seeing how she sent him a letter he felt that it would be suspicious if he were not to answer it.So now he was at the door of the specified location where the meeting will take place.He slowly entered the house and bowed.'Welcome back mistress, I hope that your stay here is a pleasant one.'

Marcus bowed to the countess. "My lady." he took her hand and kissed it, before straightening back up. He looked around "I trust the others, are still coming." He stood wait for the Countess to take her seat first.

Nicolet ran a pale white hand through her hair black hair and stepped out of the shadows, confronting her Countess. Lowering herself to one knee, she looked up at her with crimson red eyes. Taking her hand in hers, she kissed the back of it and bowed once more. "It is wonderful to have you back my mistress. I trust you are doing well." She whispered, her voice bouncing off the walls slightly. "I once again have something to fight for my mistress and you're army is as great as ever." She said once more and took her place back in the shadows slightly and watching everything carefully.

Marcus, Fenris, Nicolet... are they really all have left. Well they will be enough. I will make it so.
"My army Nicolet... after 100 years, what survives? Surly many are dead and many more have found new masters. After all, not many are as loyal as you."
She turned to Fenris, "AS for my stay being pleasent. It is not. But the thought of revenge makes it more so. Are you all prepared to give your all to make them pay."
She smiled, 'if needs be, are you prepared to die for the sake of my revenge?"

Marcus stood at attention, he barely glanced at the others arrivals. "I am ready!" he voice was loud and strong.

Fenris sighed at Angelus.'You shouldn't throw away your life so easily lad.'He then turned towards the countess.'As long as it isn't because of a foolish plan that has no chance of working.'

"I will leave the final details of the plan up to you. Though you should not be so quick to discount Marcus's brave words. After all you have shown a certain amount of what might be deemed foolish loyalty by coming her tonight."
She turned hewr back on them, staring out the window,
"What of you Nicolet? Would you die for me?"

"Thank you."
Alexis finished stamping the date into a pile of slushy romances and passed them back to the old lady across the desk. He lent back in his chair.
This is the life. Finally, I've found a job that I actually enjoy. I mean the only problems I ever have to deal with are rowdy teenagers or that old man who smells. No, this is what I was made for.
Yes. But it does lack something you know. I mean we used to get so much more excitement.
Yeah, remember the freedom Alexis - to hunt and to kill.
Yes I remember. I hated it.

Alexis sank his head into his hands. Why would they not just leave him alone?

Nicolet nods and walks to the window staring out and snapping her fingers. From the air, her Countess's army appears and she turns around. Staring at her Countess, she bows and gesters to the window and courtyard. "An army for you my Countess. All ready to die for you. They live to serve and protect you at any cost." She then stood and looked her Countess in the eyes. "I would die for you Countess." She said and bowed her head.

Fenris sighed after hearing that and went towards the window as well.He looked towards the countess.'Are you sure that a direct approach and the scorched earth policy are the best. You should tread carefully. Your enemies are probably aware of your reemergance into society.'

"Hmm, " tHe Countess stared at the ranks of her amy. Not quite so many as before, but more than she had expected, Nicolet had done well.
She turned to the girl, 'Dismiss them for now. the time for armies will come later. Fenris has a point, though i would hope my enemies are still unaware. Yet for now we should tread softly, hunt the first few of my enemies down one by one in the dark. That is what we are good at. And by a string of betrayals one death will lead to another. Till anyone who played a part in my demise is dead, and if they are already dead then I will kill their children, or their children's children."
The Countess smiled, revenge could be such fun.
"I even know where to start. Do you three remember my dearest pet wolf?'

"I remember him all to well, My Lady." he said standing behind her. "I even know where he is now. I am eager to hear what you had in mind for him." he laughed a little.

The countess smiled, "I would have thought that that was fairly obvious. I want him dead. You can do it if you like, and make it painful."

"I will not fail you, my lady." he bowed and about faced and left the room. about 20ish minutes later he was at the library where Alexis worked. He entered in the door and began to look around for him.

((Alexis is a librarian))

"Bye, see you tomorrow Marlene."
Alexis picked up his bag and walked out the front door onto the street, it was late (Damn 24 hour opening, what kind of stupid idea was that) the moon was bright, and only half full. He smiled. Half full was how he liked it, if only it could stay that way always.

The Countess watched Marcus go.
"So, do either of you two know where my other would be killers might be lurking?"

((oh my bad, fixed))

Marcus saw Alexis leaving and slipped into the shadows, and watched him go by. He slipped out and tailed him, from a fair distance behind. He was waiting for just the right time to pounce on his prey. Should I give his head to the countess, as a gift, or should I display it on a pike, to send a message to her enemies.

Alexis glanced over his shoulder. He had the strangest feeling that someone was following. He paused and sniffed.
Vampire.
Warily he looked around. Had someone come for him.
Shit.
He felt Blut stirring, ready to spring into action at the first sighn of violence.
No. Calm down. Not every vampire is out to get you. 150 years is a long time. People will have forgotten about me by now surely.

Marcus stepped into the shadows when he was looking around. He continued to follow him until they were on the outskirts of the city. Then he decided to pounce. He rushed forward and grabbed Alexis by the neck. "Move and off comes your head."

Seems not.
Alexis resisted his natural urge to struggle. He considered shouting for help. But even if somebody heard and came there would be nothing they could do, except get killed.
"Wh... what do you want?"
Maybe it's just a nice simple mugging.

"Do you remember, your old boss?" he asked. "You know? The one you killed!" He tightened his grip on Alexis' throat. "Where are the others?"

Nicolet snapped her fingers and stood slowly. The army outside of the window and in the courtyard slowly disappeared and took the form of wisps of black smoke. She sighed and leaned against the wall once more, looking at her nails. She looked around and noticed that Marcus was still the same lapdog to the Countess he always was. She smirked and listened in for any word from the Countess as to what she should be doing.

The countess turned to Nicolet.
"I have a greater task for you. Someone put my killer up to it. I want you to find out who. Use any means you see necessary."

"Ah...ah." Alexis splutterd, 'No idea. PLease... I ... don't want you to..."
Blut laughed, a crazy chilling sound.
He wrenched himself out of Marcus's grip and spun to face him, eyes glittering,
"So, you want to kill me. Come on then."

Marcus smirked. "Only because you asked so nicely." Marcus charged at him and swung a kick straight at his head.

Blut ducked and blocked the the kick, catching the foot in his hands and pushing it (and Marcus) back as he did so.
"Now now. Don't get cocky. You must remember who I am"

"I remember full well who you are." he raised his hand and sent Blunt flying back several feet. "I knew I should've killed you the day you came in, as soon as I read you mind."
