The Heart's Corruption

Just another hot and steamy day within the small city. Nemo was easily aggravated at times like this, even with his clan members."You wanna run that by me again?" His question had been addressing a male dressed in the same Eastern clan wardrobe just as he was. Nemo had mistaken the male's simple gesture for some of the water secured at his waist as a sign for being called to battle. It was normal to be challenged to fights, but most new that when it came to fighting Nemo didn't take it easy on anyone, maybe not even the queen if he was ever under this kind of heat."I guess you-" He was cut off of his dazed ranting by te sudden shouting of a crowd that seemed to have formed in the streets. Well that could only be one thing. Turning around, Nemo allowed his eyes to look over the crowd of North clan members who'd begun to crowd the one street with large numbers."....." By now he'd snapped from his daze, and was standing patiently with his very on crowd of Eastern clan members. Time for a stand off. Whoever struck first could possibly decide the outcome of this battle. Either that, or the number of bodies that lay still on the ground once the guards break up the fighting.

Searath has been asleep in the guard barracks when he battle cries above, He awoke to see guard rushing around getting weapons trying to battle and stop it. Searath quickly undresses and redress in leather combat armor, he slides his sword into its sheath and straps his bow on his back with his arrows. He then calls his squad in to order, two archers and two swordsmen beside him self. He began to leader then out just saw the armies clashed. He saw that his squad was now not the only one out. He was the only one that followed the two archers, two swordsmen, one dual format. Most where too lopsided for any real combat. Searath’s squad had the best combat rating which didn’t say much. Searath drew his bow, his two archers did the same he nocked an arrow and waited holding it at the max drawback waiting for an opening to fire.

The Guards Where all watching Searath squad, they where under orders to follow there lead. You head about fifty bows being drawn and nocked after Searath did. They had about hundred people not counting the three squads of four that made of Searath’s unit. They had one hundred twenty people give or take where are the others where armies. They knew they would not win this day. Just then one of the younger recruits, about twelve let his arrow go causing everyone else but Searath unit to fire. Most the arrows missed and gave away the Guards position.

Searath saw the arrows go flying he muttered a curse to him self, the armies where not close enough yet they would mostly hit open field and worse give them away. Searath did not have time to scan thoughts and see who did it. If that over zealous captain could quit giving a bow to everyone that in old enough to “be a man” as he put it and spent the same time training his current members things might change. He knew the captain thought anyone old enough to “be a man,” meaning anyone old enough to be in adolescences, should fight. Searath need that to stop before it got them all killed.

Danni stood back, watching the crowd begin filling the streets. A faint smile playing upon her lips as she readies herself, her red ears and tail twitching in anticipation.

teika family had been on the run heading ot the east. since where they were. was destrpyed. "tei-tei this way." her brother had moved them. they fought only when they could was mainly her father an brothers who fought to them to get away

the teiko family managed to get refugee goign thorugh the servants quarters. her parents worked for the queen as a servant had been let off for the day. but were lucky to evne find it. with all the chaos an all. was actually a blessing.

Nemo sighed and scratched the back of his head, occasionally brushing of the small skinny arms of a few of his clan members who found it more intimidating to use his shoulders as arm rest. That annoyed the hell out of him."This is-" Nemo scratched his head, and looked back to watch the guards failed attempt to strike them down with fire arrows. Wow the fight hadn't even started yet, and here they were pissing people off with their stupid attempts to keep the peace. Well it had helped to break the silence at least. While their eyes were turned, the members of the North had took advantage by charging Nemo and the rest of the East clan member. It wasn't long after, before only the the sounds of fists pounding, swords clashing, and people screaming could be heard through the streets.

Kara hurried up towards her queen's quarters to recieve her orders. tHe human residents of the palace dodged out of the way or covered their eyes as they heard the tell tale jingle of the bell she tied in her hair so the corridors were mostly empty, only the deaf, the stupid, the foolhardy or the imune supernaturals remained.
She entered the room, "My queen. I await your command."

Kara nodded, "Thank you my queen. I serve and obey as ever." She bowed and left. Once outside she climbed out onto the rooftops. Running along with a good view of the people below. Looking out for the enemy, her knife already drawn.

Teiya sees all fo the blood shed. she hated the sight of it looking out form a window. sees her father below with her brothers helping to kill those who ended ter the castles walls that were the enemy. She could fight an she was scared had to take care of her mother.

Searath smirked, the armies where not close enough for his group to fire, he raised his bow up at a higher angle and let his arrow lose, so did every single one of his team. The arrow flew upwards in an arch before descending and striking a east clan member in the neck, as did his three team mates. Searath looked at her and said “In till you can beat me in a archery contest, don’t tell me what I can and can’t do.” Searath Drew another arrow, as his whole regiment, she was right most could not hit the board side of a barn but those that could where worth it. Searath Appeared about fifteen and human, his aura and magic -both angelic and demon- where repressed. The only way to tell where his bow and sword that hung at his hip, if anyone human where to touch them they could die. That’s not to say they can’t be cut by them, as long as an the right race or half-breed held they could be touched by a human or anyone else.

Teiya was out in the city lookign for her other brother. She was scared but she still had to find him before soemthing happened. "caleb! caleb!" she yelled ou for him. she couldn't find him. "Where is he..."

Seeing the girl in distress, Shax brushed her black hair back as she quickly made her way over to her, stopping along side her. "Need help finding somebody?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side with a gentle smile. She had a darkened and mysterious aura to her, but also a gentle and helping aura. She could be dark, gentle, mysterious, and helping, all at once.
